Evra Defends Carrick, Criticizes Scholes, Neville, Keane

Patrice Evra, a former left-back for Manchester United, has publicly criticized club legends Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, and Roy Keane for their negative commentary regarding caretaker manager Michael Carrick. Evra defended Carrick, who has achieved an impressive record of winning seven out of his first eight games in charge.

Following a defeat to Newcastle United at St. James' Park, Scholes, Neville, and Keane suggested that Manchester United should not appoint Carrick as the permanent manager at the end of the season.

Evra expressed his displeasure with the comments made by the three former players, stating that he hoped Scholes' negative remarks were not genuine. He emphasized the importance of supporting Carrick during this transitional period and criticized the unnecessary negativity from his former teammates.
