EPL: Sesko’s shirt number at Man Utd confirmed

Manchester United's new striker, Benjamin Sesko, will wear the number 9 shirt in his debut season at the Premier League club. The confirmation came after Sesko arrived at Old Trafford over the weekend and was presented to supporters.

The Slovenian player, who beat competition from rival Newcastle to join United, became manager Ruben Amorim's fourth summer signing. The Red Devils had initially given the number 9 shirt to fellow new signing Diego Leon, who then switched to number 35 to allow Sesko to wear his preferred number.
