Arteta Explains Absence During Bournemouth vs Man City Match

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, revealed the reason for his absence during the Bournemouth vs. Manchester City match on Tuesday night, where City secured a 1-1 draw at Vitality Stadium.

Arteta stated that he wanted to create a special moment with his family to celebrate Arsenal's confirmation as Premier League champions. He mentioned that he could not watch the game with players and staff because he wanted to focus on the joy of the occasion.

Instead of watching the match, he went outside to build a fire and start a barbecue. Arteta described the moment when his oldest son ran towards him, crying and hugging him, celebrating their championship victory.

He also noted that he later saw a video of Martin Ødegaard enjoying the moment, which added to the joy of the day.
