Wright-Phillips Urges João Pedro to Leave Chelsea Now

Former Chelsea player Shaun Wright-Phillips has asserted that Brazilian forward João Pedro should consider leaving Chelsea immediately. Pedro arrived at Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion for £60 million last summer and has emerged as a standout performer despite the club's disappointing season.

Chelsea is currently facing significant risks of failing to qualify for European competitions next season, having suffered six consecutive defeats in the Premier League. Reports indicate that Barcelona is monitoring Pedro, and Wright-Phillips believes a transfer to the Catalan club would be ideal for the forward.

He expressed confidence that Pedro could excel alongside players like Raphinha and Lamine Yamal at Barcelona, contributing significantly to the team's success. Wright-Phillips emphasized that Pedro possesses the talent deserving of Champions League football, which he may not achieve at Chelsea, where he signed a contract extending until 2033.
