Super Eagles Coach Eric Chelle Faces Deadline Ahead of AFCON 2025 in Morocco

Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has been given a deadline by CAF ahead of the AFCON 2025 tournament in Morocco where Nigeria is drawn in Group C with Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda. Chelle is expected to finalize the 23-man squad by December 11 as Nigeria seeks to perform better than in the previous edition.

The coach is focused on preparing a strong team to make a statement in the group stage before heading into the knockout phase. Nigerian striker Cyriel Toward is also recovering from an injury to join the squad.
