Eswatini Coach Sifiso Ntiban Resigns After Defeats

Sifiso Ntiban has resigned from his role as the interim head coach of the Eswatini National Football Team after the team suffered disappointing back-to-back defeats against Eritrea in the preliminary round of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Eswatini lost the first leg 2-0 away and then fell 2-1 in the return leg on home soil, resulting in their elimination from the competition.

Ntiban, who previously served as an assistant coach, was assigned to lead the team during the early phases of the qualifiers.
