Nottingham Forest Edges Aston Villa in Europa League Semi

In the first leg of the Europa League semi-final held on Thursday, Nottingham Forest secured a 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at City Ground. The only goal of the match was scored by Chris Wood in the second half through a penalty.

Nottingham Forest will face Aston Villa again in the return leg at Villa Park next week. In another semi-final match on the same night, Braga triumphed over Freiburg with a score of 2-1.

Goals from Demir and Mario Dorgel led Braga to victory at Braga Municipal Stadium. Freiburg will host Braga in the return leg at Europa Park Stadion next Thursday.
