Parents Reveal Spiritual Journey of Evangelist Ebuka Obi

In a documentary-style video by the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, Chief Ogbuehi Vincent Anozie Obi and Nneoma Nwere Ugwu Veronica Obi discussed the spiritual journey of their son, popular evangelist Ebuka Obi. They recounted unusual encounters with him, starting with a prophecy before his birth that he would serve God.

Upon his birth, he had no hair, and both twins exhibited striking physical conditions, which Veronica interpreted as signs of a greater purpose. As a child, Ebuka began announcing deaths in the neighborhood at age eight, a behavior his mother initially tried to suppress.

He would sneak off to attend crusades while in primary school, and teachers noted his preference for reading the Bible over playing with peers. Chief Vincent Obi accepted his son's calling and expressed contentment with his ministry, though he urged Ebuka to find a wife and have children, reassuring followers that his work is ongoing.
