Every Nigerian should farm to tackle hunger – Francis Fadahunsi

Senator Francis Fadahunsi, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industry, has urged all Nigerians to return to farming in order to combat hunger in the country. Speaking to journalists in Osun State, Fadahunsi emphasized the need for large-scale food production to address the current hunger crisis.

He praised President Bola Tinubu for considering strategies to alleviate poverty and predicted that Nigerians would see relief from hunger by the end of the year if more people engage in farming. Fadahunsi also highlighted the importance of obtaining a Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration process, encouraging all eligible voters to take part.

He emphasized the need for community leaders and stakeholders to support this initiative, ensuring that everyone, including farmers and herders from different ethnic backgrounds, registers to vote.
