Esther Igbekele Remembers Toluwanisings After His Death

Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, widely known as Toluwanisings, passed away on October 14, 2026. His death has deeply affected the Nigerian gospel music community.

Veteran Evangelist Esther Igbekele publicly mourned him on October 15, sharing a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram page. She recounted their last interaction, where Toluwanisings expressed a desire to attend an event but was unable due to scheduling conflicts.

He still contributed financially to the funeral program. Igbekele described Toluwanisings as humble and affectionate, recalling how he would greet her warmly and even lie down flat to show respect.

She expressed disbelief at his passing, stating she never imagined writing such a tribute. Igbekele concluded her tribute by asking for God's comfort for Toluwanisings' family and music band, calling his death "a huge loss." Comedian and gospel minister Woli Agba also paid tribute, describing the loss as heartbreaking and praying for comfort for Toluwanisings' loved ones.
