Ex-Bauchi Deputy Governor's Children Die in Road Crash

The former Deputy Governor of Bauchi State experienced a tragic loss as his son and daughter died in a road crash along the Bauchi-Azar road on Saturday. The victims sustained injuries and were treated at the scene, but were later confirmed dead at a hospital in Bauchi.

Funeral prayers were held at the Bauchi Emir's Palace, attended by hundreds of sympathizers from the Muslim community. Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed expressed profound shock and sadness over the incident, describing it as a painful tragedy that casts a shadow of grief over the state.

He acknowledged the devastating blow to the family and offered prayers for the deceased, asking Almighty Allah to grant them eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdau and to provide the family with strength and patience to bear their loss. The governor also extended sympathies to those injured in the crash and called for speedy recovery.
