Aondoakaa Appoints Ityavyar to Lead PDP Strategy Team
Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Benue State, has appointed Prof. Denis Ityavyar, the former Commissioner for Education, to chair his Planning, Strategy and Research Committee in preparation for the 2027 governorship election. Prof. Godwin Abu will serve as the Alternate Chairman, while Dr. Terver Akase is appointed as the committee’s Secretary.
A statement from James Ian, Aondoakaa's Media Assistant, indicates that the committee's responsibilities include providing strategic direction, conducting policy research, and developing evidence-based recommendations to guide the campaign's planning and communication. The committee will refine the policy priorities of Aondoakaa and his running mate, Dr. Oyije Ochaekiti Ogbenjuwa, translating their vision for Benue into actionable proposals.
