The Nasarawa State Police Command refuted reports of pupils being abducted in Doma, Nasarawa State, emphasizing that no such incident occurred. The misinformation stemmed from a misunderstanding when pupils mistook hunters carrying guns as kidnappers.

SP Ramhan Nansel urged the public to ignore the false news and avoid sharing unverified information. Local government chairman Jonathan Okuba Addra also dismissed the reports as fake news, encouraging residents to disregard them completely.
