FAME Foundation Promotes Disability Inclusion Through Sports Event in Lagos

The FAME Foundation organized an inclusive games event at the Main Bowl of the National Stadium in Lagos on December 3, featuring 26 participants with disabilities engaging in activities like 100m finals, discus throw, shot put, and more. Arabinrin Adenike Oyetunde Atoyebi, the Executive Director of FAME Foundation, emphasized the importance of promoting inclusivity and breaking stereotypes.

The event also highlighted the foundation's commitment to empowering women and girls with disabilities through digital literacy programs. World Olympic champion Folashade Oluwafemiayo commended the initiative and encouraged more participation in sports for people with disabilities.
