Fatai Okoya explains feud with billionaire father Razaq

Fatai Okoya, the first child of billionaire industrialist Razaq Okoya, has disclosed the reasons for his estrangement from his father in a live interview with Yeye Kudi Court Room. He explained that their relationship deteriorated due to his choice of marriage, which his father did not approve of, and a financial disagreement involving money he took from his father's company during his youth.

Fatai described himself as his father's favorite son and recalled a close relationship before the fallout. He mentioned that the last time he saw his father was in January 2026 during Razaq's 80th birthday celebration, where he was prevented from greeting him by Shade Okoya, Razaq's second wife.

Fatai stated that Shade is in control of the situation, which has hindered any reconciliation efforts. He did not disclose the specific amount of money involved in the financial disagreement but characterized it as not significant.
