FCMB Group Plc Delays Q1 2026 Unaudited Financial Statements
FCMB Group Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited of a possible delay in releasing its unaudited financial statements for the quarter ended 31 March 2026. The delay is attributed to the pending approval of the company's 2025 Audited Financial Statements by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
FCMB Group Plc filed a corporate action notice with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on April 29, 2026, disclosing a possible delay in publishing its Unaudited Financial Statements for Q1 2026 (quarter ended 31 March 2026).
According to the filing, the delay stems from the fact that FCMB Group's Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2025 (2025 AFS) are still awaiting approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), its primary regulator. The company states that CBN approval of the 2025 AFS is a prerequisite before the Q1 2026 Unaudited Financial Statements can be published.
FCMB Group indicated it is working to obtain the necessary approval and expects both the 2025 AFS and Q1 2026 Unaudited Financial Statements to be submitted to NGX on or before 31 May 2026. The company committed to notifying NGX and the investing public promptly once CBN approval is received.
The notice was signed by Mrs. Olufunmilayo Adedibu, the Company Secretary, and was addressed to NGX, stakeholders, and the broader investing community.
