Federal Gov’t Releases Additional N50bn To NELFUND

The Federal Government has released an additional N50 billion to the National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to support students. Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced this during a town hall engagement in Ekiti State as part of a nationwide sensitization program.

The government aims to provide financial aid to Nigerian students pursuing education and lessen the financial burden on parents. Idris highlighted the government's commitment to improving the lives of citizens and nation-building through initiatives like NELFUND.

The government has also approved the establishment of a food processing equipment and machinery development institute to boost the food chain and health sector. Additionally, various health programs have been expanded and upgraded in Ekiti State to improve healthcare delivery and stimulate the economy.

Commissioner of Information, Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun, praised President Tinubu's administration for its impactful initiatives that have positively affected the lives of Nigerians.
