Federal High Court Announces New Judicial Postings

The Federal High Court has unveiled a new nationwide posting schedule for judges, which is part of an effort to strengthen the administration of justice across its divisions. This announcement follows the recent appointment of 14 new judges and the transfer of three serving judges to different divisions.

The Chief Judge of the Court, Hon. Justice John Tsoho, approved these redeployments based on recommendations made by the National Judicial Council.

According to a formal statement issued in Abuja by the court's director, Catherin Obi Christoph, the judges are expected to resume their respective duties on May 13. The new assignments include Justice Salim Olasupo, Justice Ibrahim Onah, and Justice Chigozi Sergiu assigned to the Abuja division, while Justice Hassan Dikko will serve in Gusau, Zamfara State, and Justice Sulaiman Amida will be in Osogbo, Osun State.

Other judges have been assigned to various divisions across Nigeria, including Minna, Lokoja, Lagos, Damaturu, Uyo, Maiduguri, and Jigawa State.
