FG and Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation Drive Digital Reforms

The Federal Government of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, is advocating for digital reforms across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to eliminate manual operations and enhance transparency in governance. This initiative was announced by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, during the declaration of the 2026 International Civil Service Conference at Eagle Square, Abuja.

The conference is expected to attract around 5,000 participants, including delegates from 16 countries across Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America. President Bola Tinubu has directed MDAs to deepen their digitalization processes as part of a broader reform aimed at improving service delivery.

Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Chairman of the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, emphasized the need for public-private collaboration to achieve measurable results in public service delivery. The foundation is committed to supporting public sector leaders through various programs, including the Aig Public Leader Program and scholarships, to enhance the capacity of civil service institutions.
