FG Launches Soil Health Scheme to Boost Crop Yields and Food Security

The Nigerian government has launched the Nigerian Farmer Soil Health Scheme to establish 774 soil test laboratories across the country, aiming to double crop yields and strengthen food security. The initiative, part of President Bola Tinubu's agenda, will provide personalized soil health cards to farmers, detailing fertilization levels and crop-specific recommendations.
