FG Trains Students in Entrepreneurship Across 100 Institutions

The Federal Ministry of Finance in Nigeria has provided entrepreneurship training to students in nearly 100 higher institutions across the country. The training, conducted under the Youth Enterprise Innovation Nigeria (YOUWIN) program, aims to equip students with practical skills to become successful entrepreneurs and employers.

The Assistant Director of Finance and Accounts at the Ministry, Mohammed Baba, highlighted the government's focus on empowering youth to create opportunities for themselves rather than relying solely on government employment. The initiative, covering 100 tertiary institutions, seeks to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and self-reliance among the younger generation, encouraging them to utilize grants and knowledge to establish successful businesses for national development.
