Nigeria Launches iDICE Startup Bridge for Tech Entrepreneurs

The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched the iDICE Startup Bridge program, aimed at supporting 500 technology entrepreneurs across the country. This initiative, part of a broader effort to stimulate job creation and strengthen enterprise development, is implemented by the Bank of Industry and supported by the African Development Bank and the Islamic Development Bank.

The program features two pathways: the Founder Lab, which is currently accepting applications until April 20, 2026, and focuses on early-stage entrepreneurs, and the Growth Lab, which will be introduced later. The Founder Lab will train 250 entrepreneurs, offering structured learning and mentorship, while participants who meet defined milestones will receive grants of N10 million.

Selected startups in the Growth Lab will receive $100,000 in equity investment. The program aims to enhance access to funding and improve the innovation ecosystem in Nigeria, with Vice President Kashim Shettima emphasizing its importance for the country's young population.
