Fidelity Bank Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the general public of an inadvertent formatting error in the Earnings Per Share (EPS) figure within its published Q1 2026 unaudited accounts. The bank states the error has since been corrected and the updated accounts have been republished on the NGX.

Fidelity Bank Plc (NGX: FIDELITYBK) issued a press release dated May 26, 2026, disclosing an unintended formatting error in the Earnings Per Share (EPS) data contained in its Q1 2026 unaudited financial accounts, which had been previously uploaded to the Nigerian Exchange Limited.

According to the filing, the error was described as an inadvertent formatting issue and was not characterised as a restatement of core financial results. The bank confirmed that the matter was brought to the attention of the NGX and that corrective action has been taken. An updated version of the Q1 2026 unaudited accounts has been published on the NGX platform.
