APC Plans Major Rally in Lafia for Tinubu's Re-election

The North Central Grassroots Mobilisation Network is organizing a mega political rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State, on October 10, 2026, to showcase support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 general elections. The rally will be hosted by Governor Abdullahi Sule and headlined by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

This announcement followed a meeting of North Central APC stakeholders chaired by APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda. The meeting included key figures such as Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume, governors, ministers, and members of the National Assembly.

The APC chairman expressed condolences for recent tragedies, including an aircraft crash and a mining-related incident. The stakeholders agreed to mobilize their political structures for the rally, which is described as the “mother of all rallies,” emphasizing their commitment to the Tinubu/Shettima ticket.

The meeting also acknowledged the leadership of Senator Akume and the arrangements for participation from various groups across the North Central region.
