FirstHoldCo Announces Retirement of Executive Director Samson Ariyibi, Expresses Appreciation

FirstHoldCo has announced the retirement of Samson Ariyibi, the company's Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer. The retirement will take effect on August 15, 2025, following the acceptance of his retirement by the Board of Directors.

Ariyibi joined FirstHoldCo in September 2013 and has since made significant contributions to the company, being promoted to various leadership positions. With over 30 years of experience in banking, financial services, tax management, and consulting, Ariyibi has held key roles in organizations such as Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Standard Chartered Bank.

The Board expressed gratitude for his service and wished him success in his future endeavors. The Board of FirstHoldCo Plc, which comprises nine members, including Chairman Olufemi Otedola and Group Managing Director Wale Oyedeji, will see Ariyibi's retirement ahead of the conclusion of his current contract.
