Nigeria's U-17 Coach Confident for World Cup; Waldrum to Join Hall of Fame

The head coach of Nigeria's U-17 women's national team, Bankole Olowookere, is optimistic about their performance at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco. The team has had a successful run in their preparations, winning ten friendly matches and scoring 44 goals without conceding.

Meanwhile, former Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, has been named among the inductees for the 2026 United Soccer Coach Hall of Fame. Waldrum, who guided the Nigerian women's team to a fourth-place finish in the 2018 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, will be honored alongside three other coaches during the convention in Philadelphia.
