Air Canada Flight Collides with Firefighting Vehicle at LaGuardia

An incident occurred at New York's LaGuardia Airport when an Air Canada flight, carrying 73 passengers and four crew members, collided with a firefighting vehicle during landing on Sunday. The aircraft was traveling at approximately 100 mph (160 km/h) when it struck the truck, which had crossed the runway.

Despite the collision, the plane managed to land safely. A total of 43 individuals, including passengers and crew, were taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from broken bones to bruises; nine of them have since been discharged.

Notably, flight attendant Solang Tremblai was found alive, strapped in her seat, and is considered to have survived a "complete miracle." Tremblai, who was seated behind the pilot, was ejected from her seat approximately 300 feet from the plane and is expected to undergo surgery for multiple fractures. Her daughter, Sarah L.
