Football Expert Urges NFF Reform After World Cup Qualifying Crisis

Ebi Ezekiel Egbe, a football facility expert, called for urgent reforms within the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following a disappointing draw in the World Cup qualifying match against South Africa. Egbe demanded the resignation of NFF leadership if the national team fails to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

He emphasized the need for immediate reforms to restore Nigeria's position as a dominant force in African football. Egbe highlighted the importance of having qualified and technocratic leadership to unlock the economic, social, and cultural potential of football in Nigeria.

Without reforms, Egbe warned that Nigerian football would continue to stagnate despite its talented players and passionate fan base.
