Morgan Gibbs-White scored the decisive goal, which he dedicated to teammate Elliott Anderson, who missed the match due to personal reasons. FC Porto's Jan Bednarek was sent off early in the match, impacting their performance.

Aston Villa delivered a commanding performance against Bologna FC 1909, winning 7-1 on aggregate. Ollie Watkins scored his 100th goal for the club, and Villa's victory was further solidified by goals from Morgan Rogers, Emiliano Buendía, and John McGinn.

The semi-finals will see Nottingham Forest face Aston Villa, with the first leg scheduled for April 30 and the second leg on May 7.
