Necati Ateş Critiques Victor Osimhen's Performance
Following Galatasaray's 1-0 victory over Gençlerbirliği, former Galatasaray striker Necati Ateş criticized Victor Osimhen's body language during the match. Osimhen played the full 90 minutes but did not score or provide an assist, ending his streak of goal contributions in every appearance this season.
On the Spor Gecesi Digital YouTube channel, Ateş expressed concerns about Osimhen's attitude when he fails to score, stating, "I don’t like Osimhen’s body language. When Osimhen doesn’t score, he switches to a different version of himself because he thrives on goals." He also questioned Osimhen's decision-making in a moment where Osimhen could have assisted teammate Deniz Gül for an easy goal but chose to pass to Batrakov instead.
Despite these criticisms, Osimhen remains a crucial player for Galatasaray, having recorded six goals and three assists since the start of the campaign.
