Former Super Eagles Star Unhappy Over Nigeria's 2025 AFCON Qualification

Former Super Eagles player, Sam Sodje, is unhappy about Nigeria's qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, citing distractions within the country's football system. Nigeria qualified for the tournament with a record of three wins, two draws, and one loss.

Sodje, in an exclusive interview with sports journalist Ganiyu Oloyed, emphasized the need for better football administration in Nigeria. Despite his concerns, Sodje believes the Super Eagles are capable of performing well in the tournament.

The former player also criticized the high level of indiscipline exhibited by Nigerian players during the World Cup playoffs.
