Fortune FA Wins Nathaniel Idowu-Ajegunle U14 League Title

Fortune FA emerged victorious in the Nathaniel Idowu-Ajegunle U14 League, clinching the title against Strong Dove FA in a dramatic final held at the Nathaniel Idowu Football Pitch in Oregi. The match concluded 3-2 in favor of Fortune FA after a penalty shootout, following a goalless draw in regulation time.

Adebayo Lateef's impressive first-half hat trick and Odeshola Odunayo's brace were pivotal in their performance. The competition featured a third-place playoff, with Ajegunle Unit SC securing bronze.

The event was attended by Princ Abayomi Ogunjimi, the National President of the Authentic Nigeria Football Alliance, who praised the organization of the tournament by the Ajegunle Sport Council, led by McAnthony Anaelechukwu. The Nathaniel Idowu Foundation also emphasized its commitment to grassroots football, with a total prize pool of 500,000 Naira awarded to participating teams.

The season will culminate next month at the New Maracana Sport Complex, where individual awards will be announced.
