Book Launch on Abubakar Sokoto Mohammed Today in Abuja

The foundation's statement reflects on Mohammed's academic journey, which began in 1976 at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he became a prominent figure in radical scholarship committed to social transformation.

His career spanned academia and media, including contributions to Crystal Magazine and Sokoto State Broadcasting Corporation. The book also examines the 1906 anti-colonial uprisings against feudal and colonial oppression in the Sokoto Caliphate, showcasing Mohammed's lifelong dedication to social questions in Nigeria and beyond.
