France and US Offer Support to Nigeria in Combating Terrorism

Over the weekend, President Emmanuel Macron of France pledged deeper collaboration with Nigeria to defeat insecurity, while Nuhu Ribadu, Nigeria's National Security Adviser, met with a US Congressional delegation to strengthen bilateral cooperation in counter-terrorism efforts. The release of 100 children in Niger marked a positive development amidst the ongoing security challenges in the region.

Discussions also included visits to IDP camps in Benu State to address humanitarian and security challenges in the North Central region.
