FRCN Pensioners to Stage Naked Protest Over Unpaid Entitlements in Nigeria

The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) pensioners, led by Bola Popoola, are set to participate in a nationwide naked protest on December 8 to demand the payment of their long-overdue entitlements. The protest, organized by the Coalition of Federal Pension Nigeria, aims to press for the settlement of outstanding pension increments and arrears, including approved palliatives.

Popoola highlighted the dire financial situation faced by retirees, emphasizing the government's failure to implement approved measures. The pensioners express disappointment over the lack of support after years of service, leading them to resort to extreme measures to ensure their voices are heard.
