Ex-Minister Saleh Mamman Sentenced to 75 Years for Corruption

Saleh Mamman, the former Minister of Power in Nigeria, was sentenced to 75 years in prison on May 13, 2026, following a two-year investigation into allegations of corruption. The Federal High Court in Abuja convicted him for diverting N33.8 billion intended for critical power projects, including the Mambilla and Zungeru hydroelectric power projects.
