PDP Governors Defect to APC, Attend First Caucus Meeting in Abuja

Six recent defectors from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), including governors Fubara, Mbah, and Diri, attended the first All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus meeting in Abuja. The meeting, held amidst heightened political realignment, drew top APC leaders nationwide.

Former PDP leaders aligned with the APC, such as Ifeanyi Okowa and Anyim Pius Anyim, were also present. Notable figures like Vice President Kashim Shettima and Senate President Godswil Akpabio attended.

The meeting was observed by INEC officials. The defections and meeting indicate a significant shift in Nigerian politics.
