Gov Fubara Calls for Unity and Peace in Post-Emergency Rivers State

Governor Fubara of Rivers State emphasized the value of peace over conflict, urging unity and reconciliation among the people following the lifting of the emergency rule imposed in March 2025. Fubara acknowledged the challenges faced during the political crisis and expressed gratitude for President Tinubu's intervention in restoring democratic governance.

The Governor stressed the importance of inclusiveness and unity in moving forward. The state had been under the leadership of Vice Admiral Ibas as the Sole Administrator during the emergency rule, which was lifted in September 2025.

Fubara highlighted the need for the people of Rivers State to unite for the betterment of the region.
