Fuel Prices Surge in Nigeria as NNPCL Adjusts Pump Prices Twice in 24 Hours

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) has increased petrol pump prices twice within 24 hours, with the latest adjustment raising prices to 875 naira per liter in Abuja. The initial increase on Wednesday saw prices go up to 839 naira per liter, followed by a further hike to 815 naira per liter.

Private fuel markets have also adjusted prices upwards, with Ranoil and Empir Energy selling petrol at 899-900 naira per liter. Another station in Abuja increased prices to 839 naira per liter.

This surge follows recent ex-depot price hikes, with Dangote Refinery reportedly selling above 799 naira per liter.
