Alex Iwobi Robbed at Knifepoint, Valuables Stolen

Alex Iwobi, a current player for Fulham Football Club, was robbed at knifepoint, with the incident resulting in the theft of valuables estimated at £500,000. The burglars allegedly made off with a luxury wristwatch, jewelry, two iPhones, a MacBook, and believed to have taken £200,000 in cash.

Following the incident, authorities have opened an investigation into the robbery. This event occurred just days after Iwobi featured in Fulham's 3-1 Premier League victory against Burnley.

Despite the off-field ordeal, Iwobi received recognition for his contributions beyond football, earning a place on the Football Black List 2025, announced on Tuesday. He was named alongside Eberechi Eze and Jess Carter in a category celebrating individuals who make a positive impact through community work.

Iwobi's project, launched in 2021, focuses on supporting underserved Black youth through football clinics, mentorship, and educational workshops, earning him the Baobab Award for his influence on young people in Nigeria.
