Billboard recently released a list of the 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All Time, showcasing the top tracks in the genre. The list, which honors the pioneers and hitmakers of Afrobeats, features Nigerian stars who have made a significant impact on the global music scene.

The genre, distinct from Fela Kuti's Afrobeat, combines elements of highlife, dancehall, and traditional African rhythms. The ranking was curated by editors and contributors from Nigeria, the United States, and the United Kingdom, with each artist allowed a maximum of three songs on the list. 2Face Idibia's "African Queen" claimed the top spot, with Wizkid's "Ojuelegba" and "Essence" featuring Tems securing second and fifth place, respectively.

Other artists in the top 10 include Flavour, Rema, CKay, D'banj, Davido, and Burna Boy.
