Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele's latest movie, "Behind The Scenes," achieved a major box office milestone by grossing over ₦200 million in its opening weekend. The film explores the pressures of "black tax" and features a star-studded cast including Scarlet Gomez, Iyabo Ojo, Destiny Etiko, and others.

This success solidifies Akindele's reputation as the box office queen of Nollywood, surpassing her previous hit "Everybody Loves Jenifa." The movie's distributor, FilmOne Entertainment, plans to continue its run in cinemas across Nigeria.
