Osimhen's Salary Issues and Injury Ahead of Juventus Clash

Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker, has reportedly not received his salaries for January and February from Galatasaray. This situation arises as he recovers from a knee injury, which has kept him out of recent matches, including a 2-0 loss to Konyaspor.

Galatasaray issued a statement confirming Osimhen's ongoing rehabilitation, stating he was in the gym on Sunday. The club is preparing for a UEFA Champions League playoff return leg against Juventus, following a surprising 5-2 defeat in the first leg.

Osimhen, who has a significant annual salary ranging from €18 to €21 million, is currently dealing with a contract breach issue, as Galatasaray has not paid him for several months. Coach Okan Buruk mentioned that Osimhen has been experiencing pain in his right knee, which has affected his participation in matches.
