Gambero Rosso Hosts Historic Italian Wine Roadshow in Lagos, Nigeria

Gambero Rosso, a renowned Italian food and wine authority, made history with its debut Italian wine roadshow in Nigeria, held in Lagos. The event, supported by the Italian Embassy in Nigeria and Italian wine producers, marked a significant milestone in Nigeria's evolving food and wine landscape.

Italian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Roberto Mengoni, and other key stakeholders in the hospitality and creative industries were present.

The roadshow welcomed 200 guests, including wine enthusiasts, industry professionals, and culinary experts, offering them a curated tasting experience of Italy's finest wines not commonly available in the local market. The event featured masterclasses led by experts like Marco Sabellico and Victoria Mulu Munywoki, enriching attendees' knowledge of Italian wines.

The evening culminated in the recognition of outstanding contributions to Italian food and hospitality in Nigeria, honoring individuals like Kehinde Taiwo Smith and Benedict Filippo Inzirillo.
