Hashim Advocates for Economic Revival Through Leadership

Dr. Gbenga Hashim, a former presidential candidate and businessman, stated that Nigeria can regain its economic strength with the right leadership.

He made these remarks during a visit from the chairmen of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) across 62 wards in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and local government chairmen from six area councils. Hashim highlighted the importance of grassroots mobilization within the PDP and reaffirmed his commitment to engaging party members to strengthen the party ahead of future elections.

He pointed out Nigeria's rich human resources and the necessity of sound policies to rebuild the economy, recalling the country's economic prosperity in the past. Hashim also expressed optimism about ongoing reconciliation efforts within the PDP to restore unity among its members.

Alhaji Ismail Moham Dogara, the PDP FCT chairman, commended Hashim for maintaining close contact with party members and emphasized the party's strong nationwide structure capable of winning future elections.
