Genoa Appoints De Rossi as Manager After Vieira's Dismissal

Genoa has turned to Daniel De Rossi to lead the team after parting ways with Patrick Vieira due to a poor start to the 2025-2026 Serie A campaign. De Rossi, a former Roma midfielder, will take charge starting with the match against Fiorentina.

The 41-year-old Italian previously managed SPAL in Serie B and had a stint at Roma. Genoa, currently in 18th place, secured their first victory of the season under De Rossi's leadership.

The club aims to improve their performance and climb out of the relegation zone.
