US Lawmakers Visit Benue State to Discuss Security Challenges with Governor Alia

A delegation of US lawmakers visited Benue State, meeting Governor Hyacinth Alia to discuss security and humanitarian challenges in the North Central region. The closed-door meeting focused on sustaining peace and justice for the people.

The delegation later visited the Catholic Bishop's Court and held discussions with Bishop Wilfr Anagb. The group also met with local leaders, including traditional ruler James Iorua.

Prior engagements in Abuja and Washington D.C. with Nuhu Ribadu highlighted the importance of counter-terrorism cooperation and strengthening Nigeria-US security partnerships.
