Google Issues Urgent Warning to 3.5 Billion Chrome, Gmail Users: Update Browser Immediately

Google has issued an urgent security update alert to its 3.5 billion Chrome browser and Gmail users, urging them to update their browsers immediately. The update addresses six issues, with half of them classified as high severity.

The update is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux users. Google has not provided detailed information on the fixes to prevent competitors from exploiting the vulnerabilities.

One of the high-impact flaws fixed is a heap buffer overflow flaw in libaom. Another critical issue addressed is a V8 race condition flaw.
