Benue State Governor Approves Simon Terver Ikya to Lead Lobi Stars Interim Management

Governor of Benue State, Rev. Father Hyacinth Iormen Alia, has approved the appointment of Simon Terver Ikya as the chairman of the interim management committee for Lobi Stars football club.

The committee, comprising sports journalists, a retired Nigerian referee, a technical director, and an admin board secretary, aims to restructure the club following its recent dissolution due to underwhelming performances. The governor emphasized the need for unity and directed the committee to register the club for the upcoming Nigerian National League season.

Ikya expressed readiness to restore the club's former glory.
