Gov. Makinde to Launch Aerial Surveillance for Oyo State Security

Governor Makinde of Oyo State is set to introduce aerial surveillance to boost security efforts in the state. The surveillance aircraft, produced by CETC Wuhu Diamond Aircraft in China, is expected to arrive in mid-November 2025.

This initiative aims to improve intelligence gathering, especially in rural and border areas prone to criminal activities. The move is part of the state's commitment to enhancing security through technological advancements and capacity building.

The governor emphasized the importance of community engagement and urged residents to report any suspicious activities to ensure peace and safety across Oyo State.
